Short Bio :I am Harish, Currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant at University of Maryland Baltimore County. My passion is to use data to create a positive social impact and solve real-world problems. As a Data Analyst/Engineer at the Maryland Department of Health, I manage and process vast amounts of health data using big data analytics and AWS services. I have successfully delivered multiple projects that enabled data-driven decision-making and improved health outcomes for the state.
I also have over three years of real-time experience in various companies, where I developed innovative solutions for various domains using data science and machine learning. I have been recognized as a finalist of T-Hub Covid-19 innovation challenge and a domain warrior of Microsoft HackonAzure challenge. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in data science at University of Maryland Baltimore County, where I am learning advanced skills and techniques to enhance my career as a data professional. I have a strong background in electrical, electronics and communications engineering, and I have published a paper in an international journal on a novel project that aims to facilitate communication for people with disabilities. I have also earned multiple certifications and honors in data science, IoT, digital circuits, and hackathons.
